Honest and fair- Earning our light blue petal

This is Lupe, the Lupine, and she taught us today about being honest and fair, the first part of the Girl Scout Law. We read a story today, where Lupe and her friends learned to take turns at playing games. Then, when the flowers got a package, Lupe chose to wait and share the cheese inside the package with her friends. Rather than eating it in secret, and lying, she waited and gave everyone a fair share.

So, today we made 'helping hands', we use our helping hands to be honest and fair in all that we do. The magnets can hang on the fridge, to remind them of that! :)

We also took turns playing games, practicing how to be honest and fair, by taking turns. I think a favorite was duck duck goose.

We also snapped a troop photo, which will be undated once we all get our tunics. :)

We enjoyed spending time with these precious girls, each unique in their own way. This is new to Jana and I, so we appreciate your patience as we get into a rhythm. If you ever have questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to call us.

Fall festival

If you didn't get with us about whether you will be there, please either email, text, or call us. We need to know how many girls will be coming. Tunic or not, we would love to see your little girls adorable face!
